WHAT IS MMEC?

MMEC is a grassroots movement founded in 1998 by passionate youth in Benin, West Africa. What started as a local church initiative has grown into an independent, socially driven nonprofit focused on education, youth empowerment, and community transformation across Africa.

MMEC (Evangel of Christ Missional Movement) supports orphans, students, and underserved youth through scholarships, leadership development, and holistic care. While our roots are Christian, our mission extends beyond religion, welcoming all who seek to build a brighter future.

HELP US REACH MORE LIVES

Currently, thousands of young individuals across Benin encounter substantial and frequently insurmountable obstacles in obtaining quality education, essential healthcare services, and impactful leadership opportunities. Our mission extends beyond immediate assistance; it is dedicated to equipping them with skills that will serve their future endeavors and dismantling barriers that limit their engagement with the broader global community. Your generous donation helps us to provide vital resources such as:

  • Scholarships for orphans

  • Leadership and life skills training

  • First aid and hygiene supplies

  • Microloans and transportation for rural leaders
